Regarding Payment:

Everything is handled through PayPal, which automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available)...so it's secure. They can also process pretty much any credit card payment...you don't have to have a PayPal account. If you want to pay with a check or money order or cash or venmo or anything like that, we can do that too...just get a hold of us first and we'll work it out. In the meantime, here are some tiny logos to entice you:

Rest Assured:

We ship all of our posters in tubes (or flat sturdy packaging for the small ones and records) for protection, carefully wrapped in paper or plastic or other posters for even more protection. Please send us an email if you want us to add insurance to your order (we'll automatically add free insurance to any order over $125).

When we catch it, we'll automatically consolidate multiple orders and refund the extra shipping. If you've placed multiple orders *that haven't shipped yet* and want to reach out to make sure that happens, feel free...but we usually just take care of it.

That said, sometimes things just can't ship together (posters & records, for example), so trust that we'll do the best we can.

A Disclaimer:

Regarding quality control, our friends at Burlesque say it about as well as anybody: "All of our posters are hand-screenprinted, and, as such, may have small imperfections like smudges, small spots, etc. We will always weed out any major or very noticeable flaws before we edition (sign and number) our posters, and so anything we ship to you is something we've looked at carefully and decided is up to snuff for the run of posters."

The Fine Print / Shipping Fees:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL (though if you feel there’s a reason for an exception, please contact us within 24 hours of making your order...we do reserve the right to stick to the ALL SALES ARE FINAL thing though).

Make sure your address is updated & correct (of course, if you move before a thing ships, let us know and we'll get it updated). Emails asking to cancel orders immediately after placing an order will NOT be responded to—please do not do that weird thing.

For ALL orders, a flat shipping/handling fee will be added to your total when you check out, regardless of how many posters or other things you order. It's based on the destination, so here's how it goes:

Poster orders shipping to anywhere in the United States = $15
Poster orders shipping to either Canada or Mexico = $21
Poster orders shipping to anywhere else in the entire world = $27–30

Smaller items are generally a bit less, and based on actual USPS shipping costs and shipping materials/labor...but honestly, oftentimes we end up eating a lot of shipping costs; it's just tough to calculate and the rates are always a moving target, so we try to err on the low side when we can.

About Our Record Label:

You've probably noticed a few records peppered throughout our store. In addition to prints and other stuff, we also manufacture and release limited-run records under our label, which is also called "Landland Colportage" (formerly "Landland is not a Record Label," which got confusing).

That's where you'll find information about records that we've put out for Joan of Arc, Self Defense Family, Slow Mass, Birthmark, Best Friends Forever, Nate Denver's Neck and a lot of older stuff from the past, as well as an easy way to listen to everything.

In fact, ordering our records from the Bandcamp is preferable to ordering them here, just because they'll automatically send you digital versions of everything, and give you access to stream it on their thing.

A lot of this is also available to stream on Spotify and all the other digital outlets. We also have a YouTube channel with a ton of stuff on it.

Regarding Local Pickups:
We used to do this sometimes, back when we shipped everything out of a warehouse-ish commercial building. We've since moved everything to a little building behind my house, so we unfortunately can't do local pickups anymore.

Additionally, if there are issues with your order, or you're just curious about where it's at (sometimes it takes us a minute to ship things), please get in touch with us directly and we'll get it figured out.

We do our best to ship everything out at least once a week, but sometimes we get buried under work or life or other things, just like anyone.

If there is an URGENCY to your order (it's a birthday present or you're leaving town in a week, etc.) drop us a line and let us know, and we'll do what we can.

Please do NOT file a dispute with PayPal without getting in touch with us first. I know that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, but it's an unnecessary headache on our end, and honestly, our inclination when that happens is to just refund the order and add you to The List, which is a bummer for everyone.
